Dave Chappelle to Perform at the Hard Rock

The massively popular and famous comedian Dave Chappelle will be going on a “Mini-Tour” with a two night stop in Atlantic City May 28th, and 29th at the Etess Arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The shows are scheduled to start at 7:00pm and tickets currently start at around $150 and can be purchased here!

THIS IS A CELL PHONE FREE EVENT. We’re making shared memories. With your confirmation, you agree to place your phone in a locked pouch which you keep throughout the evening. If you need to use your phone, return to the distribution tent at the entrance. Anyone caught using a cell phone during the show will be immediately ejected.

SHOWBOAT TO ADD INDOOR GO-KART RACEWAY TO LUCKY SNAKE ARCADE

Atlantic City will soon be opening another great family friendly entertainment option at the Showboat Hotel and the Lucky Snake Arcade. The indoor go-kart raceway will be a great non gaming option for guests of all ages. Group bookings will be available for parties and events, and helmet cameras will capture each racer’s ride and will be available to post to social media. “ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (March 30, 2022) – Showboat Resort, Atlantic City’s premier destination for non-gaming, family fun, is pleased to announce the May 2022 scheduled opening of the Raceway at Lucky Snake by Developer Bart Blatstein.

The Raceway at the Lucky Snake is a custom-designed, 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art indoor electric go-kart track.  Racers of all ages will travel through the theme of “escaping Las Vegas” on high performance electric go-karts, which will be custom manufactured in Italy.  Racers will have the ability to film their ride experience with helmets equipped with 4k cameras, which will allow them to immediately post their experience onto social media.

The Raceway adds to the already largest arcade and entertainment center on the East Coast, the Lucky Snake Entertainment Center, which will span 130,000 square feet on the ground floor of the Showboat Hotel.   The development also includes the roll-out of various elevated viewing areas where family and friends can watch their companion’s experience while playing different arcade games and enjoying food and drinks.

The Raceway at the Lucky Snake will offer unique group packages to accommodate corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, Bar and Bat Mitvahs and private parties.  There will be an educational component to the track where schools and summer camps can be trained on the mechanics of the go-karts by licensed professionals. Additionally, The Raceway at the Lucky Snake will host its own go-kart racing league where racers can join and win unique prizes to the Lucky Snake Arcade, as well as vacation packages to the Showboat Hotel.

All the Running Events Happening in AC in 2022

If your New Years Resolution was to get fit this year, why not make getting fit your vacation? Atlantic City has been holding some of the best running events for years and 2022 is sure to be one of the best running years yet! With new races never held in AC, and old races that have been canceled or virtual the last two years it’s a full schedule of running to your personal best. Below you can see the list of each race happening in Atlantic City for the whole year. Registration rates are listed based on what is available at publishing. All the races take place on or near the boardwalk for flat and fun courses, perfect for the beginner and running pros! If any new races pop up this year we’ll add them to the list! 42nd Annual St Patrick’s Day Boardwalk 10 Miler and 5k

Postponed and canceled the last 2 years, the St Pat’s Day Boardwalk 10 Miler and 5k is finally back! While there is no parade this year, put on your best green and be the parade yourself! Proceeds from the event benefit the Donny Fund.

The 12th Annual Seashore Gardens 5K Run, Health Walk

The Seashore Gardens 5k has not been held in person for 2 years and everyone is thrilled to have it back on the boardwalk this year!

Rock ‘n’ Roll Atlantic City Half Marathon

Another new race in AC this year. The Rock ‘n’ Roll race series is popular at its events in cities all over the country. Now the highly entertaining races also bring new courses to AC, including running on the AC Expressway, and to Bader Field!

Hops Trot 5k

If you want to drink while you’re on your way to session #2 of the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival, this is the 5k for you! Starting on the boardwalk, the 5k includes several stops at iconic AC destinations for beer tastings from breweries around NJ. The finish line is at AC Beer Fest at Bader Field, once you’ve finished you can celebrate with a party!

Foam Glow 5k

This brand new race taking place at Bader Field this summer brings a whole new experience to running. Runners and walkers run through colored foam zones and shine under the black lights! This race takes place after the sun goes down so you won’t have to fight that summer morning sun.
